Maissen Consultants was brought on board when the resort was in the process of being sold. Throughout the 17 month sale process, Hans Maissen was acting General Manager as well as assisting in the transition of the sale. Maissen Consultants provided sales and marketing support including trade show representation, public relations coordination and developing and launching the new Cap Juluca website. Since the sale of the resort, Maissen Consultants has taken on the role of asset management for the new owners overseeing the $80 million resort renovation including the addition of the real estate development component.
Situated on a bluff overlooking Amalfi, Hotel Santa Rosa boasts with Italian beauty and history. Built in the 9th century, this former monastery is set at the foundation of Amalfi's history, with old style architecture and culture, this resort ties the old world with modern day luxuries. From an infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean to a luxury spa and unparallel cuisine, this property will prove to be the resort destination of the Amalfi Coast. Maissen Consultants is conducting feasibility studies for the monastery conversion to a luxury hotel and consulting on the planning and future operation of the hotel.
When appointed as General Manager of Pelican Hill Golf Club, Hans Maissen was responsible for implementing the highest standards of customer service, to mirror the beauty and prestige of one of the most beautiful locations in the Western United States. With sweeping views of the ocean, including Catalina Island and the Palos Verdes Peninsula, this property has the best of everything a luxury property can offer. Soon after Pelican Hill Golf Club closed to begin construction on a luxury resort, which will overlook the 36-hole Tom Fazio designed course, Hans Maissen was asked to come on board to consult for the golf club, which reopened in the fall of 2007, with the resort opening in the fall of 2008.
